George Murray, Celebrity Artist
of Wilmington, NC is the owner of Murray Art and Frame in neighboring Leland, NC.
He has always taken his passion for nostalgia to the drawing board! Almost all of the
portraits George draws come from the influence he got from legendary icons at an early
age. He has drawn over 40 portraits of 21 Mayberry characters and received
endorsements from Andy Griffith, Don Knotts, George “Goober” Lindsey, and more! He
is the official artist of Branson Entertainment Group and was also commissioned to draw
over 30 Hollywood stars’ portraits for Disney's live model for Tinker Bell, Margaret Kerry,
whose autobiography is due out in August 2010. Those portraits will be featured in
Ms. Kerry’s new book, "Tinker Bell Talks". His pencil artwork is drawn with great detail and each
print is truly a valuable collectible.
